What is Every Teen Matters?
Every Teen Matters is a student-led nonprofit organization with the powerful goal to help those suffering from body dysmorphia. Body dysmorphia is a serious and rising mental health condition where one spends long periods of time being cautious and worried about their body's appearance. In more recent times, this has become especially common among teenagers, particularly in those who are physically active or play sports. Our goal with Every Teen Matters is to not only garner attention and provide support to those with body dysmorphia, but to garner donations that will all be directed to the Body Empowerment Project, which will utilize the money to generate awareness campaigns and use their prevention-focused mental health support programs to inspire confidence in body image and control eating disorders.

Fundraisers provide direct support to those suffering from body dysmorphia, and helps to generate mental health support as well, with the help of the Body Empowerment Project.
Personal stories are one of the best ways to emphasize the importance of an issue, and someone with experience can always provide assistance.
